Humidifier, Furnace

A whole house, furnace mounted, in-line humidifier that is attached to the home's heating and cooling system. The humidifier increases the humidity or moisture in the entire home. A pipe brings water to a control valve on the humidifier. The unit calls for humidity, the valve opens causing water to spray or release over an aluminum pad coated with matte ceramic. The warm or hot air passes through the aluminum pad causing water to evaporate from the pad to the air which is then carried into the building through the ductwork. A furnace mounted humidifier is typically found on a forced air system.
